License Cipher Gateway addresses a critical gap in content security by operating as a dedicated verification layer above standard DRM systems. While DRM excels at content encryption and playback protection, it was never designed to manage the post-delivery license control layer, where modern piracy increasingly concentrates its effort through license harvesting, key extraction, and automated stream generation.
