What a wonderful song and a talented band! We The Kingdom is a multi-generational family of musicians whose music blends worship, rock, and folk influences. The members of the band include Ed Cash, Scott Cash, Martin Cash, and Andrew Bergthold. Since their debut, they’ve earned two Grammy nominations, multiple Dove Awards, and the band continues to share music that resonates deeply with audiences.

Their song ‘Let It Be Jesus’ is part of their new album titled Dear Jesus, and the song focuses on the theme of relying on God's steadfast love rather than their own actions. If it sounds familiar, it is because Phil Wickham's ‘What An Awesome God’ is a modern rendition of Rich Mullins' classic song ‘Awesome God.’ It was reimagined with a new musical arrangement and updated lyrics while retaining the original's core message. 

Phil Wickham and his co-writer Jonathan Smith took the familiar chorus of Rich Mullins' ‘Awesome God’ and built a new song around it. They also honored Rich Mullins and his legacy by releasing ‘What An Awesome God’ on what would have been his 70th birthday.

“It’s hard to even describe what it means to me to share a small part of the legacy of this song,” Phil Wickham said. “What started as a fun idea in the studio grew into an unexpected new take on the ‘Awesome God’ story. It has quickly become one of my favorite songs to sing with the church, proudly declaring each night how awesome our God is! I’m honored to share this song with you all, and I pray that in the midst of your day, it helps you recognize ‘What An Awesome God’ we serve!”’

Josiah was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He has said that he wrote his first song at the age of nine. This young man brings creativity and energy to his music. He has such confidence in the Lord that it will inspire you and anyone who watches this video.
