Songs Of Shiloh: Like Lightning Struck

We are taught in God's word in Hebrews 10:31 "It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!" That's a no brainer. God is holy, we are not holy. God is pure, we are not pure. God is good, we are not good. God is eternal, we are not (yet) eternal. God expresses eternal love, we express human love. God is perfect, we are not perfect. God has no sin, we still have sin. Fortunately for us, God does not look for our faults and failures. He sees us through the sacrifice of His son Jesus. He embraces us as His very own.

Siblings' Beautiful Rendition of 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas'

Two siblings have turned in a stunningly beautiful rendition of the Christmas classic “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

Christmas is a beautiful, joyful season full of fun, family and entirely too much delicious food. Most people will wholeheartedly agree it is the best time of the year. Someone could argue against the Christmas season and on behalf of another time of year. But that’s likely to be a losing argument, likely unable to persuade many people to their side.

The Christmas season is full of fun and joy, and it also comes with a ton of traditions. Each family has its own annual activities. These could include participating in a favorite outdoor activity, cooking, enjoying a specific dish or watching a beloved Christmas-themed film together.

Whatever the tradition, until that is completed, it likely won’t feel like Christmas.

One of those traditions could be hearing a favorite Christmas tune. Until you hear that song on the radio or elsewhere, it just won’t feel like Christmastime. For many, that specific song will likely be “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” It’s one of those tunes that has been sung and covered by nearly everyone, which now includes the siblings who make up Life in 3D.

In a clip posted on YouTube, two of the three siblings who make up the group demonstrate their God-given musical gifts with a lovely duet of the Christmas tune. This is one version of this classic song that you’re likely to turn to repeatedly, year after year.

“Have yourself a merry little Christmas

Let your heart be light

From now on, our troubles will be out of sight.”

Once again, these young singers show they have incredible talent. Their voices are unbelievable. These young people could sing anything, and it would leave you in awe.

Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”

Man’s Stunning A Cappella Rendition of 'At The Cross' Will Give You Chills

A man’s stunning a cappella rendition of ‘At The Cross’ will give you chills. Andrew Martin has done it again. He took an old hymn and breathed new life into it, and the song has taken the internet by storm, leaving listeners in awe.

Andrew perfectly sang the sounds of alto, bass, tenor, and soprano. The harmonies are layered beautifully, and you can’t help but hum along to the song as the a cappella notes allow the lyrics to take center stage.

‘At the cross, at the cross

Where I first saw the light,

And the burden of my heart rolled away’

These words, sung with such passion, are sure to send chills down your spine. The differing voices of alto and soprano sound like a choir, and it’s hard to believe it's only one man. He has also created other beautiful covers like ‘The Lily of The Valley’, and ‘Jesus, Name Above All Names too.’

The words of the hymn make it impossible not to be moved by God’s grace. Every note reminds us of what Christ did for us on the cross. We can’t help but feel gratitude for Jesus’ sacrifice, too. I don’t know about you, but I can’t help but be grateful to Martin for breathing new life into an old song.

Isn’t it amazing how one voice can create a beautiful moment to worship? It’s as if we’re being drawn into a sacred moment, allowing us to lay down our burdens and breathe in God’s amazing grace. It serves as a reminder God is always reaching for us, lifting us up, and holding us steady.

If you need a moment of encouragement, let this worship song wash over you and remind you of the hope, healing, and power that comes from the cross. Let this beautiful song quiet your heart and remind you of your mighty savior in a world filled with noisy distractions!

Galatians 6:14 "May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world."

Young Man Captivates With His Beautiful Version of 'Amazing Grace'

When I first heard this rendition, I was floored. Judah Dorsey, a young man and gifted musician, captivates with a beautiful version of ‘Amazing Grace.’

The song ‘Amazing Grace’ is not just a song. It's our anthem of heaven. It’s our war cry and surrender to what God has done for us. It’s a reminder that God’s grace reaches every corner of our lives. It’s one of those songs that has carried us through so many difficult moments in our lives.  We never grow tired of hearing the song, and we especially love it when a new version or rendition of the song is released.

Judah’s rendition of the song is absolutely full of passion and talent. Isn’t it amazing how someone can take a song we’ve heard before and breathe new life into it? As Judah sings the song, he’s front and center, playing his guitar while his friend Dan gently plays the piano and his friend Emily plays the cello. Somehow, all three instruments work together in perfect harmony as Judah sings the words we know by heart.

As Judah sings, you can feel the weight of each word:

‘Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,

That saved a wretch; like me!

I once was lost, but now am found,

Was blind, but now I see.’

This is exactly what grace is. It is God finding us in the middle of our mess, mistakes, and brokenness. But He loves us too much to leave us there. He loves us so much that He covers our mishaps in His perfect grace. Maybe today feels overwhelming. Maybe today, you’re carrying heavy burdens. But let this song remind you that God’s grace is carrying you even when you feel too tired to take another step. Share this beautiful rendition with a friend.

2 Corinthians 12:9 “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’”

Huge Choir's Chilling Rendition of 'Hallelujah'

For Leonard Cohen’s 90th birthday, Choir! Choir! Choir! delivered a stunning tribute by leading a huge impromptu choir’s childing rendition of ‘Hallelujah,’ uniting hundreds of voices in harmony. Choir! Choir! Choir! was formed by Nobu Adilman and Daveed Goldman, who have a creative talent for transforming audiences into choirs. They began performances in this manner back in 2011 and have been traveling the world using music to break down barriers and create a new sense of community.

For this special event, which happened to celebrate the belated Leonard Cohen’s 90th birthday, Nobu and Daveed led the audience in a beautiful version of the song ‘Hallelujah.’ Leonard’s deeply moving lyrics guided the audience along, making each person a part of this beautiful performance. It was a creative way of coming together under the power of music.

‘Now I've heard there was a secret chord

That David played, and it pleased the Lord

But you don't really care for music, do you?

It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth’

The performance was released on YouTube, gaining over 750,000 views and dozens of comments. One viewer wondered what it was like to be there. She commented, “Wow! Just imagine the power they felt all around them while singing.” Another viewer had an incredible take on the music video because she was there in person when it was performed. She added, “It was a joyful evening - thanks again to Choir! Choir! Choir! for allowing us generally non-singers to be part of something so beautiful.”

Another viewer went with her best friend to the performance, she added, “I was there with my best friend and it was one of the most gorgeous, heart lifting experiences ever.”

As the voices of strangers came together in perfect harmony, the beauty of the moment reflected the spirit of Leonard’s timeless song. It was a fitting way to honor his incredible legacy. What I love the most is how everyone in the audience became an active participant in singing ‘Hallelujah.’ If you loved this version as much as I did, share it with a friend.

Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God."

Songs Of Shiloh: All The World Is Desperate For Jesus

As we look across the face of the earth, we see an ocean of human sorrow and suffering. Time itself has witnessed the painful repetition of tragedy, brokenness, and hopelessness. Scripture reveals not only the soul of humanity longs and groans to be delivered from the curse that enslaves the whole world, but creation itself longs and groans to be delivered as well. Only one person can perform that deliverance. That person is Jesus.

Songs Of Shiloh: All My Life

Every spiritual discipline requires time, energy, and commitment. Being a follower of Jesus is not part-time. Jesus does not sleep or slumber, nor does He take time off for vacation. He watches over His followers 24/7. This song expresses the heart of a follower of Jesus who has purposed to connect with Jesus every morning, every noon time, every evening, essentially throughout all of life.

Songs Of Shiloh: Overflow

We are human and we do not see our reality the way God sees our reality. There are times when I sense the goodness of Jesus, the love of Jesus, and the blessings of Jesus overflow into my life. Consequently, praise and worship from my spirit overflow up to the very throne room of God.

Luke Bryan Sings of Faith and Family in 'Jesus 'Bout My Kids' Official Video

Country music superstar and American Idol judge Luke Bryan sings of faith and family in the official music video for his moving ‘Jesus ‘Bout My Kids’ song.

Without a doubt, being a parent is one of life’s greatest blessings. It’s also the most significant role with a tremendous amount of responsibility that anyone can take on. Parents are supposed to love, protect and provide for the children the Lord has blessed them with. Any shirking of responsibility in the parenting department can and usually does result in massive negative repercussions down the road.

While parents are charged with protecting and providing for their children, they are also to be the people who introduce them to and teach them about the Lord. Regular church attendance, praying before meals and talking about and reading the Bible together are just a few ways to start building that foundation of faith in a child’s life.

In the official music video for his song, ‘Jesus ‘Bout My Kids,’ Luke sings about talking to his children about Christ when they were little. He would share Christ’s message of love and forgiveness with his youngsters, which he admits is precisely what his parents did when he was a child.

However, every person has free will and will ultimately make their own decisions—whether to follow Christ or turn away from Him. Parents can only do so much, and then the child is responsible. But, as Luke sings, Mom and Dad can still pray and reach out to the Lord on behalf of their child.

The song’s chorus is beautiful and perfectly expresses this idea.

“I used to talk to my kids about Jesus

How He lived and died and rose again

I used to talk to my kids about Jesus

Now I talk to Jesus ‘bout my kids”

What a beautiful, moving and powerful song about a parent’s prominent and changing role in their child’s relationship with Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 22:6 “If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old he will not be turned away from it.”

Trio Delivers a Stunning and Uplifting Cover of 'Bigger Is Our God'

The Wagler Sisters, an incredibly talented trio of singers, delivered a stunning and uplifting cover of “Bigger is Our God.”

Our world is lost, broken and full of hurting and struggling people. Since its entry into the world through that first act of disobedience in the Garden of Eden, sin has wrecked, destroyed and brought havoc upon everything it encounters and continues to do so. It’s because of sin that we face and endure situations and circumstances that cause pain, heartache and sorrow.

However, despite sin’s pervasive and expansive nature in the world and whatever painful and grief-stricken situation we might encounter, God is still at work. He remains on the throne and offers healing, guidance and protection whenever we face one of life’s many storms. Whenever we go through a dark valley, God remains by our side.

It's also important to remember that whatever we may come up against, God is bigger than that problem, issue or situation. There is nothing that He cannot and has not already conquered. In a clip posted on YouTube, three talented young women sing “Bigger is Our God,” a beautiful and powerful reminder of the mighty and faithful God we serve.

The young ladies’ vocal performance is outstanding, and the video is likely one you’ll return to repeatedly. But despite how great the three women are in the video, the tune’s powerful and moving lyrics shine through in this nearly three-minute clip.

“The crisis is the platform

Where His grace is perfected

When the mountain is big

Bigger is our God”

Those are words we can hold onto whenever something comes up and we don’t have an answer or a response or when the outcome is uncertain. Yes, that problem or issue may seem big, monumental even, but God is much bigger and able to handle that situation easily.

Isaiah 54:17 “No instrument of war which is formed against you will be of any use; and every tongue which says evil against you will be judged false. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness comes from me, says the Lord.”

Mister's Praise - I Am Yours Lord

Spontaneous song of praise.

Chris Rupp’s Soul-Stirring A Cappella Version of 'Beautiful Savior' Is a Must-Listen

The soul-stirring a cappella version of “Beautiful Savior” by the incredibly talented Chris Rupp is a must-listen.

Everyone loves music, at least some form of it. With all the genres, styles and types of music, there is bound to be something for every taste and preference. An individual who doesn’t like music would have to be someone who doesn’t like sound, right? Not liking music would be similar to not enjoying food.

As there are many different kinds and genres of music, there are about as many instruments used to make those sounds. Guitars, drums, the piano, the xylophone and the bassoon are just a few of the hundreds or even thousands of instruments that exist.

However, as great as those instruments may be, the first one, the one created by God Himself, is often the most beautiful: the human voice. Not much compares to hearing an extremely talented vocalist sing a lovely tune.

In the clip above, Chris uses his God-given talent to perform a lovely version of the beloved hymn “Beautiful Savior.” You’ll likely return to this video repeatedly to hear Chris’s stunning vocal performance.

As the song’s title indicates, it’s a tune about the wonderful, mighty, and faithful God we serve. The lyrics are beautifully and poetically written.

“Beautiful Savior, King of creation

Son of God and Son of Man

Truly I’d love Thee, truly I’d serve Thee

Light of my soul, my Joy, my Crown”

In addition to Chris’s performance and the beautifully written lyrics, the video is also masterfully shot. The four-and-a-half-minute clip incorporates a variety of shots and camera angles, and different colors and hues. The camera also manages to capture some truly stunning and awe-inspiring landscapes.

This video is pleasing both to the ear and the eye.

Acts 4:12 “And in no other is there salvation: for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, through which we may have salvation.”

Songs Of Shiloh: Like Father And Child

Once again, the heart of Jesus caught me by surprise. One night before falling asleep, I asked Him, "Jesus. How close do you want to be with Your followers?" Later, in a dream, Jesus shared His heart with me. Wow.
