Guitarist Reimagines ‘Hallelujah Chorus’ with a Rock Twist in Epic Performance

A guitarist reimagined the beloved “Hallelujah Chorus,” adding a thrilling and thoroughly enjoyable rock twist, making for one epic musical performance. The incredibly talented musician gave the timeless Christmas piece an updated sound and feel. Check out this video because this version of the Christmas classic is more than worth a few listens.

Christmas is a festive, joyous season, complete with song after song after song about the most wonderful time of the year. Essentially, there is a Christmas tune for every musical taste and preference. If you haven’t found a Christmas song that you at least mildly enjoy, that’s only because you aren’t trying hard enough.

The classics, those songs that we sing and listen to every year at Christmastime, have been performed and recorded hundreds, perhaps thousands, of times. Each time, every musician tries to offer and add their own take and spin on whatever Christmas classic they are covering. Some become classics in their own right, and others are ones we’d like to forget completely.

In a clip posted on YouTube, S. Joel Norman performs George Frideric Handel’s masterpiece “Hallelujah Chorus.” Of course, everyone is familiar with this piece of music, even if they don’t know it. The tune is still widely heard and covered despite being hundreds of years old. However, you’ve probably never heard it played quite like this before.

Using only electric guitars, S. Joel turns in an absolutely rocking performance about the tune of the angels singing and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. This is a simply masterful performance from a clearly gifted musician. It’s a unique take on a Christmas classic we all know and love. This will surely be one that you add to your Christmas rotation, to be played yearly.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

The Greatest Gift

This Christmas song video shares about the Greatest Gift ever – Jesus! It parallels how He arrived on earth humbly “wrapped”, concealing the true treasure within, to how we wrap up our gifts to hide their contents until just the right time. He is the priceless gift!

Christmas Time, The Savior's Birth

This song is about the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

It's such a blessing when your son can join you in a video! O Little Town of Bethlehem ft Lincoln Walls - Cypress Fyre A cappella trio

Judy Garland’s Iconic ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ Rendition from Meet Me in St. Louis

Judy Garland’s iconic rendition of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” from the film “Meet Me in St. Louis” never fails to dazzle and amaze. The legendary star’s rendition of the Christmas classic is pitch-perfect and continues to be listened to every year. Check out the video to listen to her chilling performance.

The Christmas season is beloved and busy. People are often rushing and bustling around, trying to fit in every requirement and obligation that comes with Christmastime. It’s a time full of shopping, wrapping presents and parties—there are so many parties.

Another reason why the Christmas season is so busy and enjoyable is because of all the traditions. Every year, we have movies we watch with family and friends. No matter how many times we may have seen, and even though we might be able to recite those films line-by-line, we still watch them faithfully at Christmas.

One film likely to be a popular choice during the Christmas season is the musical “Meet Me in St. Louis” starring Judy Garland. In one of the film’s sequences, Judy performs “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” It’s an absolutely outstanding musical performance, to say the least.

A clip posted on YouTube shows the scene in the film when Judy sings that holiday classic.

“Have yourself a merry little Christmas

Let your heart be light

Next year, all our troubles will be out of sight”

Like every other Christmas song, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” has been covered hundreds, if not thousands, of times. However, it will be hard to top this version from Judy Garland. Whose version of this song could possibly be better? Not only does she sound great, but she delivers those lyrics with such ease, making it look effortless.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

ALIEN WORLD HEAVEN EARTH

Lucy and Martha Thomas Stunning ‘Silent Night’ Sister Duet

Sisters Lucy and Martha Thomas delivered a stunning duet of the beloved Christmas hymn “Silent Night.” The two young women demonstrated their immense musical gifts and abilities with their lovely performance of the classic. Check out the video to watch and listen to their dazzling rendition.

Christmas is a season with no shortage of tunes. There is bound to be a Christmas-themed song for every taste and preference. Santa, Frosty and Rudolph all get their time to shine, and many tracks are dedicated to them and their Christmastime adventures.

While those secular songs are fun and enjoyable, other more classic, religious Christmas songs help put the focus on the real meaning and cause for the celebration: the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas is a meaningless and empty exercise without celebrating and honoring Christ's arrival on Earth. One of those songs that best captures the significance and importance of Christ’s birth for all humanity is “Silent Night.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, the Thomas sisters perform a charming rendition of that timeless tune about the evening Jesus Christ entered the world. Yes, it may be a song we’ve all heard hundreds, possibly thousands of times, but that does not diminish the lyrics' beauty and meaning.

“Silent night! Holy night!

All is calm, all is bright

‘Round yon virgin mother and child!

Holy infant, so tender and mild”

Christmas is a wonderful but typically busy time of year. People are often rushing to pick up an extra gift, hurrying to wrap presents or hustling over to yet another Christmas party. However, whatever we do during Christmas, let us remember the real reason for all the gatherings, meals and gifts.

Christmas is a celebration of when Jesus Christ, the greatest gift ever given, entered the world, which the two talented singers so beautifully sang about.

Luke 2:7 “And she had her first son; and folding him in linen, she put him to rest in the place where the cattle had their food, because there was no room for them in the house.”

Children’s Choir Delivers Beautiful 'Joy to the World' Cover

There’s something about music that breaks through the noise of our hearts and carries us straight into God’s presence. That’s exactly what I felt when I listened to the One Voice Children’s Choir deliver ‘Joy to the World’ in a beautiful church sanctuary just in time for Christmas!

The sanctuary was filled with a radiant glow as soft light streamed through stained-glass windows, casting vibrant colors across the pews. One by one, the choir members dressed in different colored robes began to join in to sing the wondrous triumph of the birth of Christ with a glorious Jazz and Blues style. When they sang, “Joy to the world, the Lord is come! Let earth receive her King,” it was a declaration to let the truth of those words settle into our souls in this busy hustle and bustle of the Christmas season.

Watching children pour their hearts into worship moved my heart and made me smile. It reminds us of Jesus’ words in Matthew 18:3, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” That’s what I love most about this song. It invites us to be kids again, awaiting the best gift we could ever imagine. It’s a reminder that joy isn’t confined to a song or a moment—it’s a posture of the heart.

As they sang the lyrics, “Let every heart prepare Him room,” I couldn’t help but reflect: Am I making space for Jesus in my life this season? Am I truly receiving the joy He offers, or am I letting the busyness crowd Him out? This Christmas, let’s allow our hearts to echo the song of those children. Let’s receive our King with joy and prepare Him room so His light can shine through us as it did through their voices.

Matthew 18:3 “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”
