Skillet Turns ‘O Come, O Come Emmanuel’ Into a Hard-Hitting Rock Tune

Skillet turns “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” into a hard-hitting rock tune. This cover of the beloved Christmas classic is unlike any version you’ve ever heard. Watch the short clip to see the official music for Skillet’s cover of “O Come O Come Emmanuel.”

Christmas is, without a doubt, the most wonderful time of the entire year. Many beloved songs, seasonal television specials and movies repeatedly state this. And given all that comes along with Christmas, it’s hard to argue otherwise. Who doesn’t enjoy spending time with family and friends, eating way too much delicious, delectable food and opening a gift or two? That does sound like a wonderful time, and one that no other holiday or time of year can compete with.

Another thing that often accompanies the Christmas season is the playing of all the classic, traditional songs. Some may start listening earlier than others, but we all love them regardless. While we all love the conventional versions of Christmas songs, it’s also nice to hear other musicians’ takes and interpretations on these tunes.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the Christian rock band has released its take on “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.” This rendition is a dramatic departure from what you and I are used to, but what’s wrong with some change now and then, right?

“O come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear”

We are all individuals, with no two being 100 percent alike. Everyone has different musical tastes and preferences, and for those who like their Christmas music with a little more edge and bass, this version is definitely for you. It won’t be for everyone, but then again, that’s the case with every kind of music. You won’t please everyone.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Backstreet Boys Spread Holiday Cheer with ‘Feliz Navidad’ Lyric Video

Christmas came early this year—wrapped in palm trees, sandy beaches, and a whole lot of boy band nostalgia. Add Backstreet Boys' spreading holiday cheer with ‘Feliz Navidad' lyric video to your playlist. I may or may not be a fan girl over here, getting excited over the group that broke out when I was in the 8th grade. Does that age me or any of us? Let’s forget it and start rejoicing.

They just released a whole lot of groovy beach vibes mixed with Christmas, even though Thanksgiving hasn’t arrived yet, more than 117,000 people have already pressed play. And honestly… we get it.

It’s the kind of video that makes you smile before you even realize you’re smiling. Seagulls swoop across bright skies as snowmen somehow survive on sun-soaked sand. Santa and his reindeer glide over turquoise waves like they traded chimneys for shoreline, and suddenly Christmas feels bigger, brighter, and beautifully unexpected.

It’s pure holiday joy with a tropical twist.

This is the kind of song you play while stirring soup on the stove… and then suddenly you’re dancing in the kitchen instead. Or maybe you skip the cooking altogether, let the music play, and pretend you’re somewhere warm while snow taps against the window.

Because somehow, strangely, wonderfully—it works both ways.

It sounds like Mexico calling you away to the beach… and yet it fits perfectly with the hush of a snowstorm rolling in across the Midwest. It’s Christmas for every kind of heart—whether it’s covered in sunscreen or wool scarves. And here I am in the middle of Nebraska with this sound playing in the background!

There’s something about light-hearted Christmas music that reminds us we don’t always have to wait for the “perfect” moment to celebrate. Sometimes joy can start early, before the calendar says it’s time, before everything is ready, before the world feels settled.

Sometimes Christmas begins wherever we decide to make room for cheer.

So go ahead—press play. Let the Backstreet Boys carry you into the season with palm trees and snowflakes and a holiday classic sung under a tropical sky. We don’t have to wait for the calendar to give us permission. Joy gets to show up early. Loud. Unapologetic. With maracas. Jesus came to bring joy into every corner of the world—and sometimes that joy sounds like “Feliz Navidad” in November.

Luke 2:10 “But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.’”

Chilling 'Come All Ye Faithful' A Cappella Rendition

Some songs are so familiar that we think we already know how they sound. Until one day, someone sings it in a way that stops the world. Listen to this chilling ‘Come All Ye Faithful’ a cappella rendition and try not to preach to your choir about it. It’s that good!

When this incredible all-vocal group Home Free released their stunning version of ‘O Come All Ye Faithful.’ I’m not exaggerating when I say I’m pretty sure I fell out of my chair. One minute I was watching… the next, I was on the floor, hands over my heart, wondering how a song I had heard a thousand times could suddenly feel brand new.

We’re used to hearing this hymn in church—sturdy and choral, pews full, hymnals open. But when these five men begin to sing, it’s something else entirely. In the music video, their faces fade into one another as the song unfolds, like a story we’ve always known but never heard like this.

And then the chorus hits.

The room opens up. The harmonies stretch wide. The church they’re singing in feels like it might burst at the seams. It’s not just beautiful—it’s worship. It’s wonderful. And I can’t wait for you to hear it.

‘Home Free’ is known for their deep voices—and when I say deep, I mean deep enough to rattle your bones. But the moment they lift into the highest of high harmonies, you just sit there stunned, wondering how voices can stretch from the floorboards to the rafters like that.

This isn’t just a song—It’s a moment that hits your heart to open wide to start the Christmas season of holiday cheer and the love of Jesus.

It’s the kind of music video you add to your Christmas playlist and play on repeat while you’re wrapping gifts or baking cookies, or maybe just sitting in the quiet letting the season sink in. You can’t help but smile. You can’t help but hum. You can’t help but worship.

Five men. One song we’ve known all our lives. And somehow it feels like the first time all over again.

Psalm 95:6 “Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.”

Steven Curtis Chapman and CeCe Winans ‘Christmas Is All in the Heart’ Duet

Listen to this beautiful Christmas duet from Steven Curtis Chapman and CeCe Winans of the song ‘Christmas Is All in the Heart.’ This song reminds us that the core message of Christmas is fundamentally about God's presence and love for humanity. Let this song encourage and uplift you today!

‘Cause Christmas is all in the heart, that's where the feeling starts
And like a fire inside, it touches every part
Cause Christmas is all in the heart, and even if no white snow falls
That's all right because the joy can still be found wherever you are’

What a wonderful song, and Steven Curtis Chapman and CeCe Winans sound incredible singing it together. ‘Christmas Is All in the Heart’ was originally written by Steven Curtis Chapman, and he recorded it for his 2004 Christmas album. The song was inspired by the biblical message of Christmas, emphasizing that the true meaning of the holiday is about God coming to be with people, offering comfort and the message that they are not alone, especially in difficult times.

What is beautiful about this recording is that Steven Curtis Chapman got the chance to sing  ‘Christmas Is All in the Heart’ again with CeCe Winans.

“I got to record this song 30 years ago with the one and only CeCe Winans…and somehow, by God’s goodness and grace, I got to sing and record it again all these years later with that same amazing lady who still has one of the most beautiful hearts and voices of anyone on the planet! And now we get to share it with you!” he shares.

Steven Curtis Chapman has also recently announced his "The Music of Christmas Tour," which celebrates thirty years since the release of his first Christmas album of the same name. The tour will bring an unforgettable evening of holiday music, worship, and cherished classics to ten cities across the U.S. this November and December.

We hope you enjoyed listening to ‘Christmas Is All in the Heart’ today!

Andrea Bocelli and The Muppets Team Up for ‘Jingle Bells’ Performance

Get ready for a holiday moment with an unexpected match. This is an incredible moment. Andrea Bocelli and The Muppets Team up for a ‘Jingle Bells’ performance.

As the host introduces the performance, he discusses how they considered what would be the most interesting and unique combination for this performance with the acclaimed Andrea Bocelli. He announces the unique pairing of Andrea and the Muppets. The muppets ask Andrea what he wants to sing, and he tells them that when he was a child he learned the great and beautiful song, ‘Jingle Bells’ and all of the Muppets agree and get excited about it.

Kermit tells Andrea to start, and they will join in. As Andrea begins to sing in a more operatic version, Miss Piggy swoons, and the others question what this is, comically. Kermit suggests, “maybe it is just the intro.” The Muppets are all confused.

Kermit speaks up and asks Andrea if Jingle Bells could be faster. Miss Piggy speaks up because she loves his version. Suddenly, the Muppets kick it up.

Then Andrea begins the second verse again, this time slowly. Miss Piggy lies on his shoulder, and all the boys make comical comments. His long note wows them.

The Muppets ask to go faster. He begins to get allegro. The Muppets join in and get pumped up.

Suddenly, Andrea gets largo again. They start to talk about how wonderful he is and continue to make humorous remarks. At the end of the performance, Andrea holds a stunning note, and Miss Piggy joins in.

The audience stands and cheers. This was an unexpected group that brings such poise and cheer to the Christmas season. You will love every minute of this video. Check it out!

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!" Philippians 4:4

As the video begins, a wonderful style of music is featured, accompanied by impressive instrumentation. The lights are dimmed to blue, and Christmas trees are lit in the background. Chris Blue and Autumn Nelon begin straight off with smooth harmonies.

Chris starts singing in a bright holiday suit. He has great skills, his voice is strong, and he really builds the song and makes it his own version of a classic hit. His runs are effortless and easy to listen to.

The second verse comes, Autumn adds her beautiful voice in the mix, and Chris harmonizes so perfectly with her. It is an incredible duo. They smile at each other and clearly have a blast performing together. The band behind is all offering their wonderful talents as well.

The atmosphere is one of worship, reverence, and joy. As you let this powerful duo sing over you, enjoy the reminder that Jesus, the God of the universe, came down to a lowly manger so that all who believe in Him will have eternal life. Ponder this and allow this stunning musical moment to lead your own heart into awe and worship to the Savior.

It can be easy to pass by a song or get too comfortable with the lyrics that hold such truth when we hear them every year. Let’s pray that this message resonates with us in a fresh way, even if we have heard it each Christmas season. They certainly bring a new flair to a holiday favorite.

“And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.” Luke 2:7

Mat and Savanna Shaw gained popularity with their singing videos in 2020, when Savanna was eager to stay connected with her music friends and started a music social media account. In this video, we get a behind-the-scenes look at the experience of recording a song in a studio. You see, the studio is lit up with beautiful lights, red hats, and the spirit of Christmas.

Scotty begins to sing, and it is so easy to listen to. He has such a fantastic voice that is deep and rich. The instrumentals are phenomenal. You see all of the musicians shine in various moments. These men are incredible at their jobs and bring a new style to a hit song that we love to listen to each year.

Scotty adds some fun in the final chorus, “May your days, may your days, may your days be merry and bright.” They will have you dancing along.

He creates a beautiful community among us, and we are all called to make joyful noises to Him together.

“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.” Psalm 100:1-2

The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight’

Such a beautiful song to get into the Christmas spirit! Matthew West just released his Christmas album, Come Home For Christmas, and he shared about why the album is so special to him.

Matthew West Brings Holiday Cheer with ‘Joy to the World’ Lyric Video

Are you ready for this? Christmas is coming a little early as Matthew West brings holiday cheer with ‘Joy to the World’ in this lovely lyric video. It might still be early fall with leaves just starting to turn, pumpkins showing up on porches, but when Matthew West sings this song, it feels like Christmas already slipped softly through the door and filled the room with light.

And honestly? We can listen to Christmas music anytime we want. Maybe we should. Because there’s something about those familiar melodies about hearing “the Lord is come” that stirs joy deep down in our souls. It reminds us who we are: sons and daughters of a God who came near.

In his beautiful new lyric video, Matthew brings fresh life to this treasured song. His voice lifts like a prayer — steady, bright, overflowing with awe. The scenes glimmer with peace, a gentle reminder that joy isn’t just a holiday emotion; we can feel it all year long.

As one listener wrote, “Lord… show your glory this Christmas for this humble servant. Be exalted, Jesus Christ.”

Another shared, “Can’t wait for Christmas! I’m going back to church for the first time in seven years.”
What a beautiful ripple — that a song could stir courage, hope, and the longing to return home to faith.

There’s laughter in the comments, too. “Lord help us all, ain’t it the truth! Outstanding again. My new favorite Christmas album!”

And maybe that’s what we all need this fall, a song that reminds us joy isn’t seasonal. It’s sacred.

So, go ahead and play the song. Let it fill your kitchen as you make dinner, hum it in the car, send it to a friend who needs to smile today. Because this version of “Joy to the World” doesn’t just celebrate Christmas — it celebrates the unshakable joy of belonging to Jesus.

Add it to your playlist. Share it widely. Let joy roll through your heart like a carol that never fades. Because even when it’s not December, Christ has come — and that’s reason enough to sing.

Nehemiah 8:10 “The joy of the Lord is your strength.”

O Come, O Come, Emmanuel (EDM) (Music Video) - Heath Bewley

This is a more contemporary version of "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" (EDM). This is a classic song hoping for Christ to come. Christ came to show people the way to God. He died, for the sins of the world, and rose from the dead. Christ will come again to renew the whole world.

Christmas Hymn 'Silent Night' Lyric Video

The beloved Christmas hymn “Silent Night” has now received the lyric video treatment. This is one video and rendition that you’ll want to listen to and watch repeatedly. Check out this short but powerful clip to hear the Christmas tune that is near and dear to the hearts of many, “Silent Night.”

Christmas is one of the best times of the entire year. Many would argue, and rightfully so, that it is, in fact, the best season of the whole year. It’s an opportunity for family and friends to get together, exchange gifts, eat delicious, mouth-watering foods and enjoy one another’s company. You get rid of the snow, ice, frigid temperatures and bone-chilling windchills that often accompany the Christmas season, and there would be no doubt about the best part of the year.

However, as much as you might love Christmas, we all know it’s not officially the Christmas season until we watch this television special or that Christmas movie. For others, it might not be Christmas until a specific song is heard on the radio. When it comes to songs during the Christmas season, I would venture to guess “Silent Night” is that special, meaningful song for many.

A lyric video for “Silent Night” has now been posted to YouTube. While you and I already know those beautiful and moving lyrics describing the evening when Jesus Christ entered the world by heart, reading those words will likely cause an emotional reaction.

In addition to the words we all know and love, the clip’s background image is incredibly impactful and might even cause a tear or two to fall down your cheek. Four men are depicted looking into the stable, gazing upon the newborn King who has just arrived to save humanity from sin. The looks on each of their faces are ones of hope, joy and amazement that their Savior and King has finally arrived.

Luke 2:7 “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.”

Christmas Classic ‘Joy to the World’ Gets Beautiful Lyric Video

The Christmas classic “Joy to the World” has received a beautiful lyric video. Everyone is more than familiar with “Joy to the World,” yet it remains a beloved tune heard and performed every Christmas season. Watch the short but delightful clip to listen to and view the lyric video for “Joy to the World.”

Many would argue, and likely be correct, that Christmas is the best time of the year. It’s a season when family and friends gather to exchange gifts, eat too much delectable food and simply enjoy each other’s company. What could be better than that? Yes, it’s typically cold, and can be downright frigid, during the Christmas season, but you can’t have everything, right? Nothing is perfect.

Regardless of your Christmas traditions and celebrations, they are nothing more than an empty, meaningless exercise if the birth of Christ is not recognized and celebrated. His coming to Earth, as a child born in a manger surrounded by barnyard animals, is the reason for the entire season. The Son of God, who would and does save man from his sins, had finally arrived. That is certainly something worth celebrating.

One of the many Christmas songs that recognizes and honors the arrival of Jesus Christ is “Joy to the World.” Yes, it’s a song we all know, likely by heart, but that does not lessen the powerful, moving lyrics about the absolute elation and jubilation felt after Jesus Christ had finally entered the world. Of course, this is the most important birth that has ever and will ever occur.

“Joy to the world; the Lord is come
Let Earth receive her King
Let every heart prepare Him room
And heaven and nature sing”

Praise God!  The one true King has come. He who was sent to save humanity from their sins has arrived. How could one not get joyful and overly excited about that world-altering, life-changing birth in that lowly manger all those years ago?

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
