Drive For Hope Golf Tournament

Hope For The Warriors (HOPE) is a national, non-profit organization founded by military families to support Veterans and their families. Forward Air has partnered with HOPE since 2020 and has raised more than $1.75 million for programs and services dedicated to improving the lives of those who have served in the armed forces.

“We are proud to support Hope For The Warriors and the incredible work they do to improve the lives of Veterans every day,” said Shawn Stewart, President and Chief Executive Officer of Forward Air. “This year’s tournament was our most successful event yet, as we joined forces with so many of our business partners for a truly wonderful cause – but our work is not finished. We will continue to grow our partnership with HOPE, so we can expand the impact on those who have served and need our support.”

This year’s Drive for Hope event featured a dinner and silent auction with a guest speaker and HOPE beneficiary, who shared his story of an explosion in Iraq that left him severely wounded, and spoke about the ways Hope For The Warriors stepped in to provide assistance to him and his family.

“When partnerships based on shared conviction to a cause unite, magic happens. Forward and HOPE are united in purpose – to stand with and strengthen military families. By combining our passion and resources, we will not only do better but drive lasting impact for our military and their families,” said Robin Kelleher, Hope For The Warriors co-founder and CEO.

The $526,000 raised at the tournament was the largest amount ever raised at the Drive For Hope Tournament, which included a record number of sponsors, attendees, and golf participants.

Forward Air is committed to giving back to the Veteran community. For information on sponsorship opportunities, please contact Operation Forward Freedom.
