NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar 16, 2026--
Elysian, the first AI-Native Third-Party Administrator (TPA) built for complex commercial claims, today announced the appointment of Martin Schwitzner as Head of Product. Schwitzner joins as the company deepens investment in the Claim Conductor, its AI-native claims platform designed to provide adjusters with real-time intelligence across every stage of the claims lifecycle.
Schwitzner brings more than 15 years of product experience, including over a decade of senior leadership spanning insurtech, consumer technology, and enterprise software. Across his career, he has built product organizations through critical growth stages, from initial funding rounds to multinational operations. Prior to Elysian, he served as VP of Product at Marshmallow, the UK motor insurance unicorn, where he oversaw the development and scaling of the company’s in-house claims platform and other integral pieces of the insurance value chain. Earlier roles include senior product leadership at Amazon, OpenTable, Joyn (Germany's leading streaming platform), and Rappi (Latin America's largest delivery service).
In his role at Elysian, Schwitzner will lead product strategy across Claim Conductor and the company's analytics suite, working alongside engineering and claims operations to drive the platform's roadmap. His focus will include expanding Claim Conductor's AI-orchestrated workflows, its audit and oversight capabilities, and the analytical tools that give clients portfolio-level visibility into claims performance.
"Martin has built product organizations from early funding through global expansion, and he understands what it takes to ship technology that works under real operational pressure,” said Grace Hanson, Elysian Founder and CEO. "His combination of breadth and discipline will prove valuable as we build out the capabilities that make Claim Conductor genuinely useful under real operational pressure–not just as a system of record, but as a live intelligence layer for the adjuster."
"I’m excited about what the combination of deep claims knowledge among our team and applied AI can bring to this space," said Schwitzner. "I look forward to working with Grace and the team as we build and scale a platform that brings unprecedented speed and precision to the claims process."
Schwitzner's appointment follows a period of significant operational momentum for Elysian. Earlier this month, the company announced its selection to Lloyd's Lab Cohort 16 — the London Market's flagship accelerator program — marking its first formal entry into the Lloyd's ecosystem. That recognition, alongside continued growth in client demand across carriers, MGAs, and program managers, reflects the traction Claim Conductor is gaining as a purpose-built platform for complex commercial claims. As the platform's capabilities expand, Elysian continues to build the technical organization needed to deliver on that scope.
