Dennis Prager examines Exodus 3 and 4, focusing on Moses’ encounter with God at the burning bush and his repeated reluctance to accept the mission of leading the Israelites out of Egypt.

Why did Moses question his own abilities, and why did God choose him despite his lack of confidence and speaking ability? Dennis explores the meaning of God’s name, “I Am Who I Am,” the nature of leadership, and the importance of carrying out a moral mission even when the task seems overwhelming.

The discussion also considers the Torah’s teachings on freedom, human responsibility, divine knowledge, and the dangers of viewing people only as victims of circumstance. Through Moses’ story, Dennis highlights enduring lessons about faith, courage, character, and moral choice.
