Dr. Ronald Joseph Lin
Dr. Ronald Joseph Lin is a graduate of Brandeis University and Thomas Jefferson School of Law. In addition, Dr. Lin holds the unique distinction of being the first and only American in history to have obtained both the LL.M. and S.J.D. degrees from Zhejiang University’s prestigious law school. Dr. Lin worked extensively and in a variety of positions in government on the county, state and federal levels within the offices of his state’s County Executive, U.S. Congressman, U.S. Senator and Governor.
Dr. Lin ran for Bergen County Commissioner in Bergen County, New Jersey last year and on June 8th, 2021 he became the first Asian-American in New Jersey history to attain the nomination of a major political party for a County level seat.
Presently, Dr. Lin is an Associate Professor at Shanghai University of Political Science and Law and also previously worked as a Legal and Compliance Manager for a Hangzhou-based private equity firm. Dr. Lin is also the Founder and Host of “Real Talk With Ronnie”, the fastest growing political talk show in New Jersey which airs live weekly on the Salem Media Group via AM 970. On his show, Dr. Lin interviews the biggest names in politics, news, society and culture. Aside from his teaching commitments, Dr. Lin is also an entrepreneur and is the Founder and CEO of Linbright Consulting Group, LLC, a consultancy that focuses on business, political and marketing strategies as well as business formation services and media production and development.
