Bill Staniford

Bill Staniford

In 1991, as a twenty-one-year-old high school dropout from New York City, Bill enlisted as a U.S. Marine, completed Parris Island and went on to serve an exemplary five-year career working under the National Security Agency as a cryptologist and an electronic warfare specialist.

After receiving an honorable discharge from the Marines in 1996, Bill completed his undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Business from the University of Texas, Austin and an MBA from the University of Colorado, Boulder. As the CEO of four startups and as a director for the largest ESL program in NYC, Bill has been a change agent and an industry disrupter ever since. As the CEO of PropertyShark.com, Bill effectively revolutionized the real estate industry of NYC by creating transparency at an unprecedented level, and was recognized by Time, Inc. as one of the 50 best websites in the world in 2009.

Bill is running for Congress because he wants to return to service for the people of New York's fourth congressional district. Bill is a pragmatic, common sense leader who will bring a visionary entrepreneurial spirit to Washington.
