NEW YORK (AP) — NEW YORK (AP) — Inter Parfums Inc. (IPAR) on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $62.3 million.

The New York-based company said it had profit of $1.93 per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.83 per share.

The perfume maker posted revenue of $424.6 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $425 million.

Inter Parfums expects full-year earnings to be $5.15 per share, with revenue expected to be $1.45 billion.
