NEW YORK (AP) — NEW YORK (AP) — Chimera Investment Corp. (CIM) on Wednesday reported profit of $136.5 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had profit of $1.39. Earnings, adjusted for investment gains, came to 36 cents per share.

The mortgage investor posted revenue of $195.3 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $66.5 million.
