Authorities identify 2 killed in shooting near Rutgers

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) — Two men killed in a shooting near the Rutgers University campus in New Jersey have been identified and their deaths have been ruled homicides. Seven people were also wounded in the shooting, which occurred around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in New Brunswick. Middlesex County prosecutors said four victims remained hospitalized Monday, with three of them in stable condition and one in critical condition. Authorities initially reported that six people had been wounded in the shooting, but prosecutors said Monday that an additional victim later came forward. The two deceased victims — 28-year-old Lionel Macauley, of Somerset, and 23-year-old Anthony Robinson, of New Brunswick — both died of gunshot wounds.
