Authorities capture man sought in deadly street shooting

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Authorities have captured a Camden man who they say fatally shot a man and wounded a woman on a city street last month. The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force found 21-year-old Marquese Holmes in Evesham on Monday. It’s not known if he’s retained an attorney. Camden County prosecutors say Holmes is charged with murder and attempted murder in the April 9 shooting that killed 30-year-old Quinton Norman, of Camden. A woman was also shot and seriously injured in the incident, but her name and further details on her condition have not been disclosed. A possible motive for the shooting has not been disclosed.
