CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May was down 17.75 cents at $6.28 a bushel; May corn lost 24 cents at $5.6050 a bushel; May oats was up 5 cents at $3.44 a bushel; while May soybeans declined 25.25 cents at $13.4775 a bushel.

Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Jun. live cattle was off .45 cent at $1.6352 a pound; May feeder cattle fe11 1.15 cents at $2.0492 a pound; Jun. lean hogs was up .15 cent at $.8670 a pound.
