CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Jul. gained 8 cents at $6.27 a bushel; Jul. corn advanced 3 cents at $6.05 a bushel; Jul. oats was up 2 cents at $3.4425 a bushel; while Jul. soybeans rose 5 cents at $13.55 a bushel.
Beef and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Jun. live cattle rose .98 cent at $1.7830 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle was up .95 cent at $2.4285 a pound; Jun. lean hogs was up .95 cent at $.8565 a pound.
