Libertas Funding today announced important executive leadership appointments, effective January 1, 2026, designed to strengthen the company's strategic focus and drive continued success.
John Paradisi Appointed Chief Executive Officer
John Paradisi has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Libertas Funding. Mr. Paradisi will continue to report directly to Gary Katcher and will continue to serve on the company's Board of Directors.
"Over the past eight months with Libertas—and throughout his extensive career in financial services—John has demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and an ability to build trust across the organization," said Gary Katcher, Founder and Executive Chairman of Libertas Funding. "His ability to inspire confidence and provide clear direction makes him the ideal leader to help us achieve our future objectives."
In his role as CEO, Mr. Paradisi will oversee all executive leadership and Business Development, ensuring streamlined decision-making and alignment across the company.
Mr. Paradisi brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across commercial and consumer banking, specialty lending, and capital markets. Prior to joining Libertas, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Specialty Banking Officer at City National Bank of Florida, where he led the growth and expansion of several key business segments. As the bank's Chief Strategy Officer, he played a pivotal role in growing total assets from $18 billion to more than $26 billion in four years. Earlier in his career, Mr. Paradisi spent 17 years at CIT Bank in senior leadership roles spanning Corporate Strategy/M&A, Specialty Banking and Consumer Banking.
Randy Saluck to Assume New Role as Vice Chairman
To support the company's next phase of growth, Randy Saluck will assume the new role of Vice Chairman. Mr. Saluck will also continue to serve on the Board of Directors, serve as a member of the Libertas credit committee and continue to provide guidance to and support the underwriting team on complex transactions.
In this capacity, Mr. Saluck will focus his time on developing and executing a Key Account Strategy. This dedicated function is designed to deepen institutional relationships with the company's largest revenue-generating clients and to identify new high-value prospective opportunities. Mr. Saluck will spearhead the firm’s efforts in proactively mitigating systemic portfolio risk within these critical accounts.
He will also oversee the management and strategic growth of key referral relationships and serve as a senior resource in collaborating with the Business Development team in order to accelerate Libertas’ portfolio growth across the organization.
"Randy has been instrumental to Libertas’ success since 2017, and we are thrilled that he will be dedicating his deep experience to strengthening our most vital client and referral relationships and driving growth in our largest accounts," added Gary Katcher.
