Garrison Roofing and TAMKO Give Back to Springfield Police Officer Injured in the Line of Duty

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec 16, 2025--

Springfield Police Officer Aaron Pearson, who was injured while on duty in 2015, recently received a new roof for his family’s home thanks to the generosity of Garrison Roofing and support from TAMKO Building Products LLC.

While serving his community, Officer Pearson was shot and suffered a severe brain injury that changed his life. Years later, when his family needed a new roof and insurance did not cover it, the community stepped in to help.

“The whole community was made aware of Aaron's story approximately 10 years ago, and it’s always weighed really heavy on my heart,” said Jamie Garrison, Owner of Garrison Roofing & Guttering. “I like to give back, and this was my opportunity to step forward and do the right thing and just take care of it for him.”

Garrison Roofing, a Springfield-based roofing company and TAMKO Pro Diamond TM certified contractor,* led the roof installation using TAMKO’s high-quality shingles. The collaboration was part of a shared effort to support the community and honor those who serve it.
