Facebook Employees Call Out “Intolerant” Liberal Culture

More than 100 Facebook employees have joined together to form an online group called FB’ers for Political Diversity to create a space for ideological and political diversity within the company.
The group says they are uniting to challenge what they say is an ‘intolerant’ liberal culture at the social media giant.
Brian Amerige, a senior Facebook engineer who started the movement within the company, wrote “We claim to welcome all perspectives, but are quick to attack — often in mobs — anyone who presents a view that appears to be in opposition to left-leaning ideology.”
Several other liberal Facebook employees have complained, claiming the group’s online posts were offensive to minorities.
