Here We Come A Caroling Wassailing Christmas song

I am sing a fun classic Christmas song

This Beautiful Piano Instrumental of ‘Great Is Thy Faithfulness’ Will Lift Your Spirit

This beautiful piano instrumental of “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” will lift your spirit and bring a gentle peace to your heart. As you listen to each keystroke, take in the slow beauty of the moment. Just play the video to begin.

Pianist Jason Coleman is a master of his craft. He presses each key timely and with intention, and it’s wonderful to hear. His chosen piece brings to mind the lovely hymn’s lyrics:

Great is thy faithfulness, O God, my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with thee.
Thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not;
As thou hast been, thou forever wilt be.

The classic hymn was written in 1923 by Thomas Obediah Chisholm. Thomas wrote over 1200 poems and hymns by the time he was of retirement age. Thomas was a humble man who described himself as “just an old shoe.”

He had sent “Great is thy Faithfulness” and a number of other poems to Rev. William H. Runyan of Chicago’s Hope Publishing Company. The reverend was impressed by Thomas’s work and quickly set the tune to the lyrics.

William said of “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “This particular poem held such an appeal that I prayed most earnestly that my tune might carry over its message in a worthy way, and the subsequent history of its use indicates that God answered prayer. It was written in Baldwin, Kansas, in 1923, and was first published in my private song pamphlets."

Later, in 1954, George Beverly Shea introduced the hymn in evangelistic meetings in the UK. And the hymn grew popular. It’s a beautiful song, even without the lyrics, which Jason Coleman highlights in this video.

“Be certain, then, that the Lord your God is God; whose faith and mercy are unchanging, who keeps his word through a thousand generations to those who have love for him and keep his laws,” Deuteronomy 7:9

We The Kingdom Powerful ‘Dear Jesus’ Performance Video

Watch this powerful performance video of We The Kingdom singing their new song ‘Dear Jesus.’ This is the title track of the band’s new album, which will be released on January 30, 2026. ‘Dear Jesus’ is a song that reminds listeners to remember the healing, resurrecting, and saving power of Jesus at work in their hearts.

‘Dear Jesus, it's been a long, long time
Been runnin' 'round, rackin' my brain
On why I've wasted life lookin' for freedom
I tried every high, I thought I saw the light but I been seein' blind’

The music video starts off with an instrumental version of ‘Amazing Grace’ and then transitions to a guitar that starts to play the beginning of ‘Dear Jesus.’ The band is in a space with brick walls and dim lighting, and the powerful words of the song start to echo around them as they start to sing.

This beautiful song was initially inspired by a conversation with a man whose life was transformed by grace. We The Kingdom imagined that man’s story as a letter written to God from a place of brokenness and hope, and the song serves as a voice for those who have experienced pain and struggle to find words for prayer. The song truly embodies the album’s heart, which is honest, unfiltered, and anchored in redemption.

When it comes to the songs on We The Kingdom’s new album, they are all ones that are deeply personal, rooted in faith, and unafraid to wrestle with both light and darkness. It builds on the honest storytelling and musicianship that have defined We The Kingdom since their debut in 2018.

“After spending two years recording, it’s beautiful when you can tell the story of reality,” the band shares. “This record is a culmination of the beauty that came from freedom: no themes or motives, but truly authentic.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Dear Jesus’ from We The Kingdom, and may the song serve as an encouragement for you today.
