NASHVILLE, Tenn.
More Like You,” the latest in a string of stirring new singles from singer/songwriter and American Idol alum Michael Sarver, is now available on streaming platforms from S&G Music Enterprises (distributed by WieRise Music). Penned by Sarver and Sidewalk Prophets’ Dave Frey along with Ben McDonald, Dan Macal, and Justin Richards, the potent pop anthem takes aim at the motives of the heart.

A powerful plea for authenticity challenging performative platitudes and superficial spirituality, “More Like You” is ultimately the expression of a desire deeply rooted in Sarver’s soul: "I wanna find beauty in all things/Like You do/I wanna be real hope and shine it/Like You do."

“I hope this song can invite others to adopt the heart and lifestyle of Jesus Christ without imitation,” he shares. “As Christians, we can ‘talk the talk’ but often our walk isn’t in alignment with Him. I am no exception. I’ve been in situations where I didn’t represent Jesus in a way that truly resembles and honors Him.”

“Are we a light to the world for His sake or are there areas where we need to grow and change to be more like Him?” Sarver asks. “Do we see others through His eyes? Do we love others with His love? Do we treat others with His kindness? Do we extend the same grace to others He extends to us? These are all questions that demand honest answers so we can grow in Him and truly reflect His love to others.”

Following March’s “Limitless” and the 2025 tracks “Warrior,” “Victory Song,” and “All I Need,” “More Like You” adds to the rapidly growing repertoire of singles Sarver has released since stepping into the Christian music spotlight last year.
