Christmas Light Show Set To ‘Where Are You Christmas’

One family has pulled out all the stops with their exterior Christmas decorations, creating a magnificent lighting display perfectly timed to a holiday classic from the talented country singer Faith Hill.

The Christmas season is a spectacular time of year. Love, kindness and charity seem to be in abundance on and in the days and weeks leading up to Dec. 25. But not only do people go all out with their kind acts during the holiday season, but also with their exterior lighting displays.

Every Christmas season, it appears and feels like families go above and beyond with their Christmas displays, trying to outdo what they did the prior year. The more extravagant, the better seems to be a popular way of thinking.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one family may have found a way to “outshine” all others. That is, of course, until their display next year or if some other ambitious family gets a glimpse this year. The Gustavsson family created a marvelous Christmas light display that works perfectly with Faith Hill’s “Where Are You Christmas?”

“Where are you Christmas?
Do you remember
The one you used to know?
I’m not the same one
See what time’s done?”

The blue and lights shine and dazzle, creating a beautiful, calming and soothing display. Then, about halfway through the song, the lights change color. It goes from shades of blue and white to dark reds, white and even some areas of green lighting.

As the lights dance along the lawn and on the house and garage, Faith’s official music video for “Where Are You Christmas?” plays on the right side of the screen.

The amount of work and talent that would have been necessary to create such a remarkable display is staggering. It shows that everyone has been blessed with different gifts.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Trio Sings Chilling Rendition of ‘The First Noel’

Three talented young people turned in a stunning and awe-inspiring musical performance, singing about the Christmas season and the birth of Jesus Christ.

Most will wholeheartedly agree that Christmas is the best period of the entire year. All the gifts, the meals, the gorgeous lighting displays and gatherings with family and friends certainly make Christmas a fun-filled and beautiful time. However, without recognizing the significance and importance of the birth of Christ, Christmas is a meaningless celebration.

In a clip posted on YouTube, three musicians – two men and a young lady – who call themselves Life in 3D sing about that first Christmas, “The First Noel.” Their sweet, soothing voices are simply angelic. All three demonstrate their massive talent throughout the nearly 2-and-a-half-minute video, creating a most pleasant listening experience.

“The first Noel the angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields say they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter’s night that was so deep
Noel Noel Noel Noel”

Others who commented on the YouTube link also appreciated Life in 3D’s inspired performance of the beloved Christmas tune.

“You 3 are perfection when singing praises to God. Thanks again,” one person wrote.

“Beautiful, stunning. Awesome! Perfect harmony! God blessed you 3 with so much talent!” a second individual posted.

“Thank you so much for this beautiful song. You all have beautiful voices. Thank you again and stay blessed. Amen,” someone else added.

“The First Noel” is a tune that has been sung and recorded by a number of musicians over the years. It’s likely that any musician with even the smallest amount of fame or notoriety has a version of “The First Noel” floating around somewhere.

However, no matter how many times you may have heard the song about the newborn King, it never loses its meaning. Born is the King of Israel! The moment that precious child, born in Bethlehem stable, who brought hope to a lost and broken world, is still a reason for celebration.

Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

‘Festa’ Andrea Bocelli Sings For The John Lewis Christmas Advert 2023

Andrea Bocelli lent his immense musical talents to the latest John Lewis Christmas commercial, and a new video gives a behind-the-scenes look at how that happened.

Hollywood, and the entertainment industry in general, is not all glitz and glamor. That seen on the television screen or at the theater is the final product of blood, sweat and tears. The entertainment industry is a job field like any other and often requires long, stressful hours like every other occupation.

A clip posted on YouTube shows world-renowned Italian singer Andrea Bocelli adding his dazzling voice to the John Lewis 2023 Christmas commercial. As the video shows, it’s not as simple as Andrea singing the song one time through and then calling it a day as he collects a healthy paycheck.

The clip opens in a music studio and gives viewers a look at several Andrea Bocelli records that adorn the studio’s walls. Seconds into the video, Andrea walks into the room, picks up his headphones and stands in front of the microphone.

As Andrea prepares to belt out the lyrics to “Festa,” a voice off-camera reminds the people in the room and nearby to shut their mouths.

“Silence please…we start recording!” the words on the screen read.

Andrea begins singing, and from that point forward, the video is a mix of Andrea and his crew in the studio and the John Lewis Christmas ad featuring the massive Venus flytrap Snapper.

One man in the studio sits at a computer, monitoring the recording as others sit in the room and silently take in the sight of Andrea singing “Festa.”

But as the clip also shows, not even someone as experienced and talented as Andrea Bocelli is above direction and guidance. At different times throughout the clip, a second man talks to Andrea, who, given his arm movements and hand gestures, dictates directions to him.

In the clip’s closing moments, Andrea exits the studio after what was likely a long day while singing “Festa” to himself.

Psalm 104:33 “I will make songs to the Lord all my life; I will make melody to my God while I have my being.”

‘Blue Christmas’ Elvis Presley And Kane Brown Official Graceland Video

One of the biggest names in country music, Kane Brown, teamed up with an iconic entertainer for a memorable reimagining of a beloved Christmas tune, “Blue Christmas.”

Elvis Presley, having been dead for decades, is still a widely recognized figure. His voice is unmistakable, with many spotting an Elvis tune within the first couple of notes. Musicians still today attempt to replicate his iconic style and sound, but all fall far short each and every time. Elvis is a one-of-a-kind musician who has continued to impact the entertainment world years after his death. There will never be another Elvis Presley.

In a clip posted on YouTube, country music star Kane Brown sings with the King of Rock and Roll on an updated, more country-sounding version of “Blue Christmas.” It’s not a huge departure from the original classic Elvis tune about experiencing a less-than-ideal Christmas, but it’s still a noticeable change.

There are loops added throughout, giving the song a somewhat modern country music sound. Kane’s voice also helps to take this song in a much more country direction than the original.

While this is an updated take on the Elvis classic, die-hard fans of the original version aren’t likely to be too offended. The changes are not too dramatic and overwhelming. Ardent Elvis fans do not need to worry.

In addition to the slightly new and updated sound, the video for the duet goes in a different direction than likely expected by most. The video for the tune, referred to as the “Official Graceland Video,” features images of Elvis’ Tennessee mansion.

There are dozens of interior and exterior shots of the Memphis, Tennessee, house decorated for the Christmas holiday. The camera also lingers on several Christmas trees and rooms intricately decorated. The attention to detail on the trees and the room in which the trees sit is quite astounding.

Given the extent and the extravagance of the house’s Christmas decorations, it’s safe to say that Elvis was a big fan of the Christmas holiday and season.

Psalm 95:1 “O come, let us sing to the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.”

‘Joy To The World’ Jordan Smith Sings Christmas Classic

Christian music singer and former winner of The Voice Jordan Smith gave a pitch-perfect performance of a beloved Christmas classic, “Joy to the World.”

Christmas is when family and friends come together to celebrate and recognize God sending his one and only Son to Earth. That baby boy coming to Earth, being born by a virgin in a humble, lowly stable in Bethlehem changed the trajectory of the world forever. He was sent to Earth to save man from his sins, to give everyone a chance at everlasting life with Him.

When thinking of the miracle and world-changing birth of Jesus Christ, there is only one way to respond to such a momentous occasion: with abundant, exceeding and overwhelming joy. How could anyone reply in any other manner?

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jordan Smith, the winner of The Voice season 9, sings about the Savior’s birth and the staggering amount of joy felt by all because of His arrival. Christ’s much-anticipated entrance gave hope to all man.

“Joy to the Earth, the Savior reigns
Let all their saints employ
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy”

Jordan turns in a thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining cover of the beloved Christmas song. Jordan leaves his mark on the track, making it his own.

He does change the song quite a bit, adding verses to the original version. However, what Jordan adds only helps to enhance the meaning and intent of the original. Anyone who was a big fan of the original “Joy to the World” will still love and appreciate Jordan’s updated version of the Christmas classic.

In addition to the outstanding vocals Jordan provides, the official music video for the tune is a feast for the eyes. The video is a series of sweepingly beautiful shots of jaw-dropping landscapes.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonder, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace.”

‘Gloria’ Gaither Vocal Band Live Christmas Performance

A handful of gifted musicians turned in an awe-inspiring performance of an upbeat and catchy tune about the birth of Jesus Christ and how everything changed instantly.

God lovingly sent His one and only Son into the fallen world to save sinners. Without Christ's birth, death and resurrection, all would have remained lost and condemned. But Christ’s birth in a lowly stable in Bethlehem forever changed the course of history. Now, all have a chance at everlasting life with Him.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the Gaither Vocal Band sings “Gloria,” a song about the difference Christ’s birth made to a lost world. Jesus Christ's arrival was the most important birth in history. It was a moment that instantly and forever changed everything for so many.

Before Christ’s birth, the singers mention how everything was dark. There was not a single light in the sky. Darkness covered the sky. But Christ's birth in the inn changed it all, everything. Hope had come into the world.

“Gloria, dark became light,
Everything bright
Gloria, Emmanuel Christ is born tonight
There were angels everywhere, their singing filled the air
They said don’t be afraid”

Christmas is a terrific time of year, filled with numerous traditions and other annual activities. Friends and family gather to exchange gifts, share meals and enjoy each other's company. Precious, dearly held memories are created during these occasions.

But despite all the meals, the presents and traditions, those joyous gatherings are empty and worthless if they do not honor, recognize and celebrate the birth of the Savior.

Christ was sent, born of a virgin in a stable, to save mankind from its sins. Praise God for His love and mercy that He sent his one and only Son to save sinners and give all a chance at everlasting life!

John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.”

Alan Jackson Sings Christmas Song ‘The Angels Cried’ With Alison Krauss

Country music legend Alan Jackson and fellow country musician Alison Krauss beautifully performed a tune describing the scene that evening Jesus Christ was born.

Christmas is a delightful time of year. It’s a season for friends and family to gather and celebrate and remember Jesus Christ’s birth, a moment that forever changed the world. No other child’s birth will ever mean as much as that of Jesus Christ. What a joyous, magnificent and marvelous celebration that must have occurred that evening in that lowly stable in Bethlehem!

In the song “The Angels Cried,” Alan Jackson and Alison Krauss attempt to describe that scene in the stable, all who had gathered to take a gander at the child and the significance of Christ’s birth on that holiest of nights. After that child’s birth, the world would never be the same.

The song’s opening verses paint a picture of people and creatures traveling from distances, near and far, to get a glimpse of the child that would save mankind from their sins. The song indicates that those who came to that manger in Bethlehem had no idea what lay ahead for that child.

Only the angels in attendance that evening knew the child’s destiny, according to the song, which caused them to shed tears as they looked upon that precious and holy scene.

“It filled their hearts with joy to see
And knowing of His destiny
Came tears of love”

Of course, the wise men who spotted the star in the sky that evening knew who the child was and what He had come to Earth to do. They knew the star meant that the Son of God had been born. They even brought gifts to recognize and celebrate the child. The wise men understood God had sent the child to Earth to save men from their sins.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

‘O Come, O Come Emmanuel’ Children’s Choir With Tommee Profitt Perform Christmas Hymn

Grammy Award-nominated Christian music producer Tommee Profitt joined forces with an orchestra and an immensely talented children’s choir to create a chilling rendition of a beloved Christmas tune.

Christmas is when friends and family come together and celebrate, recognizing the birth of Jesus Christ, the one sent to Earth to save man from his sins. The biblical story of Christ’s birth mentions that an angel of God told Joseph that he was to give the child the name Emmanuel, which means “God with us.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, Tommee and a group of musically gifted children give an epic performance of “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.”

“O Come, O Come, Emmanuel”
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear”

While the memorable lyrics to the classic tune all remain the same, Tommee plays with the sound. He adds several beats, giving it a more modern and rock feel. This new version would fit right at home in a pivotal scene in an intense, high-octane Hollywood thriller or action film.

It's certainly a different take on the old Christmas tune, and will likely not be for everyone. But if you’re going to do an updated version of the song, why not go all out, right?

Additionally, in the official music video for the song, the children, the orchestra members and Tommee perform in what looks to be an abandoned airplane hangar. The dark look of the video is perfect in keeping with the sound and feel of Tommee’s updated version of “O Come O Come Emmanuel.”

As the video’s description mentions, this updated and up-tempo rendition of the Christmas hymn is one of the tracks off Tommee’s Christmas album, "The Birth of The King." Other songs included are a version of “We Three Kings” with the popular contemporary Christian band We The Kingdom and a take on “What Child Is This” featuring pop singer Avril Lavigne.

Matthew 1:23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

Chilling Rendition Of ‘O Come, Emmanuel’

One young man turned in an inspiring and moving rendition of a beloved Christmas song about the birth of Jesus Christ, “O Come, Emmanuel.”

The Bible makes it clear that several were anxiously and eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Son of God, a Savior to cleanse men’s hearts of sin. So, when that child finally arrived, born to a virgin in a Bethlehem stable, it was a joyous occasion and a time for celebration. Many even traveled great distances to get a glimpse of the Christ child, bringing with them gifts for the newborn King.

In a video posted on YouTube, Simon Khorolskiy belts out the lyrics to “O Come, Emmanuel,” a tune that beautifully expresses the utter happiness and joy that followers of God likely felt on that most holy of nights.

“O Come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear”

Simon does not change much, if anything, in the song. Classics are classics for a reason, right? Instead, he uses his God-given talent to bring glory and honor to His name by delivering an epic and masterful performance of the Christmas song that is near and dear to the hearts of many.

Simon’s stunning “O Come, Emmanuel” performance is far from the only tune he’s sung. Those interested in hearing more from this immensely talented vocalist will discover dozens of other videos on his YouTube channel.

But regardless of whatever amount of fame and money that might come his way due to his incredible singing voice, Simon has one clearly stated objective and goal. He describes his music as being for “the glory of God and his son Jesus Christ.” Simon adds Jesus “gave his life for me, my songs are all for him.”

What a wonderful, stated approach and goal! Simon, with his music and voice, is looking to bring glory and honor to the one true King!

John 1:14 “And so the Word became flesh and took a place among us for a time; and we saw his glory – such glory as is given to an only son by his father – saw it to be true and full of grace.”

‘Oh Come All Ye Faithful/Hark! The Herald Angels Sing’ Bing Crosby Christmas Performance

The legendary actor and singer Bing Crosby turned in a dazzling and memorable performance as he sang a classic and beloved Christmas tune.

One of the most passionate debates in recent memory involves Christmas music and when it’s appropriate to start playing those tracks. Some people believe it’s best to wait until the Thanksgiving holiday has passed (obviously, the correct answer). However, others believe that immediately after Oct. 31 is more than acceptable, which is crazy, right?

Regardless of when those Christmas tunes begin spinning, there are some performers who will be heard during the holiday season. One of those widely heard voices during Christmastime belongs to Mr. Bing Crosby.

Many versions of Bing singing Christmas tunes are heard annually, including his singing of “Oh Come All Ye Faithful.” In a clip posted on YouTube, Bing belts out the lyrics about the multitude eagerly coming to worship the newborn King.

“O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant
O come ye, o come ye to Bethlehem
O come and behold Him, born the King of angels”

Bing Crosby had to have been a massively talented individual. In the clip posted on YouTube, as he sings the song, he does so with what appears to be very little effort. Yet, he still sounds incredible, turning out the version of “Oh Come All Ye Faithful” that is likely most familiar to a majority of the population.

After his outstanding rendition of “Oh Come All Ye Faithful,” Bing is joined on stage by several other individuals. They begin singing “Hark the Herald Angels Sing.” It’s unclear, given the camerawork, if Bing actually joined in on that song.

Bing Crosby, his music and his voice, over the years, have become closely associated with the Christmas season. In the short, 1-minute, 40-second clip, Bing shows why that is the case.

Luke 2:7 “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.”

Choir Performs A Cappella Rendition Of ‘Mary, Did You Know?”

A choir turned in a dazzling a cappella performance of a favorite Christmas tune in which the musicians singing posed a series of questions to Mary about her precious baby boy.

The birth of Jesus Christ in that lowly, humble stable in Bethlehem all those years ago forever changed the trajectory of the world. Just 33 short years after that holy and silent night, Christ would willingly go to and die on the cross. He won the victory over sin and death, providing all a chance at everlasting life.

But at what point did Mary, the virgin who gave birth to Jesus Christ, know that her son was far different than any other child? Yes, an angel of the Lord visited her and let her in on what God had in store for her, and thank God she was a willing and faithful servant. But when exactly did she realize there was something different about this child?

In a clip posted on YouTube, a choir of several talented singers performs “Mary, Did You Know?” It’s a beautiful a cappella rendition with the performers seeking to know what Mary knew and when exactly she knew it about her firstborn son.

“Mary, did you know that your baby boy
Would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy
Has come to make you new?
This child that you delivered will soon deliver you”

Mary, a young, humble woman with low societal status, was given a monumental, life-changing task. She was chosen by God himself to deliver the Savior of the world. It’s hard to imagine all the thoughts, confusion and fear that must have been flooding her mind during that time.

But she and Joseph were faithful and willing servants who relied upon the Lord to protect and guide them. Thank God both were able to set aside what had to have been their massive fears and worries!

Luke 1:38 “And Mary said, ‘Behold, the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.”

‘O Holy Night’ TAYA Performs Classic Christmas Hymn

Popular and immensely talented Christian musician TAYA gave a warm, lovely and dazzling rendition of a song about the evening when the Savior entered the world, “O Holy Night.”

The Old Testament books of Isaiah and Micah told of the coming birth of Jesus. He would be the one sent by God to save man from sin and shame. It was a birth and a moment in time that many were anticipating and anxiously awaiting. So, it only makes sense that the birth that would and has ever since changed the world would be remembered as a momentous occasion, a cause for celebration from that point forward.

In a video posted on YouTube, TAYA sings one of the most beloved hymns of all time, one that captures the world-changing impact of Christ’s birth, “O Holy Night.”

In the second verse, TAYA beautifully sings how Christ’s entrance into the world radically changed everything. What was once before His birth was now no more. Thinking and customs have changed since Jesus Christ was born in a Bethlehem stable surrounded by barnyard animals.

“Truly He taught us to love one another
His law is love and His Gospel is Peace
Chains shall He break, for the slave is our brother
And in Jesus' name, all oppression shall cease”

Her rendition of the beloved song is one that is more than deserving of several listens. She sings with so much emotion, perfectly capturing the feeling of the momentous, world-changing birth that had taken place in that little town of Bethlehem to a virgin.

TAYA’s cover is one, much like any Christmas tune sung by Bing Crosby, Mariah Carey or Elvis Presley, that deserves to be in heavy rotation every Christmas season.

TAYA, the young woman, has been tremendously musically gifted. She shows off her immense vocal skills with a staggeringly beautiful cover of a beloved song about the birth of Jesus Christ and the following celebration.

Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child has come, to us a son is given; and the government has been placed in his hands; and he has been named Wise Guide, Strong God, Father Forever, Prince of Peace.”

A Cappella Voices Of Voctave Sing ‘We Need A Little Christmas’

A group of immensely gifted musicians put their vocal talents on full display with a festive, upbeat and uber-catchy rendition of a Christmas tune beloved by many.

Every Christmas season comes with its annual traditions and activities. Most will conclude that it’s just not Christmastime unless and until those annual holiday requirements and obligations are fulfilled. That even holds true for some when it comes to hearing a favorite Christmas song. It’s not Christmas until a specific and classic Christmas song is heard, the thinking goes.

Everyone has a specific Christmas song near and dear to their heart. Typically, it’s one that is not only catchy and upbeat but also has a special memory or feeling attached to it. Likely one of those festive Christmas songs that is a favorite of many is “We Need a Little Christmas.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, the super-talented a cappella group Voctave provides listeners with their cheerful and beautiful rendition of the Christmas hit.

“For we need a little Christmas, right this very minute
Candies in the window, carols at the spinet
Yes, we need a little Christmas, right this very minute
Hasn’t snowed a single flurry, but Santa dear, we’re in a hurry”

Voctave’s cover is fantastic, hitting all the right notes at just the right time. Their superb rendition, which is sure to get even the biggest of Scrooges in the Christmas spirit, wholly deserves more than a handful of listens.

Not only is the group’s performance of the holiday favorite excellent, but their choice of clothing also hits the mark. Everyone in the group dons a sweater that could compete in and may even win any ugly Christmas sweater contest.

Despite their bad and hard-to-look-at sweaters, Voctave’s cover of “We Need a Little Christmas” could become a Christmas classic, one that listeners turn to every year for some holiday cheer and enjoyment.

Psalm 95:1 “O come, let us make songs to the Lord; sending up glad voices to the Rock of our salvation.”

‘Christmas Feels Different This Year’ Sarah Reeves Official Music Video

A musically gifted young woman, Sarah Reeves, demonstrated her unbelievable vocal skills by singing an emotional but very different Christmas tune.

Christmas, most people will wholeheartedly agree, is the best time of the entire year. It’s a season filled with family, friends, food and gifts. It’s easy to enjoy and get caught up in the season with all that goes on in the days and weeks leading up to Dec. 25. But for some, Christmas can be an extremely difficult and depressing time of year.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Sarah Reeves sings a song that reminds us that, for those who have experienced loss throughout the year, Christmas can serve as a sad, distressing and painful reminder.

“I should cherish the noise
I should feel the joy
But here I am holding back tears
‘Cause Christmas feels different this year”

Not only are the lyrics likely to cause listeners to react emotionally, but the official video for Sarah’s song is sure to evoke a similar response. The video begins with Sarah, wearing a green, festive dress, standing and peering longingly out a window. It’s clear that she’s waiting for someone, but they are more than likely not coming.

Sarah continues to decorate a tree by herself, placing ornaments on the tree that is sitting in the corner of the room. Then, in what is the most heartbreaking visual of the entire clip, Sarah sits at a table by herself with two empty chairs.

In a post on social media, Sarah wrote how the song is about a loss in her life, what she felt during that following Christmas season and what she hopes to achieve with her tune.

“The Christmas after my divorce, I remember feeling sad, lonely and honestly ready for it to be over,” Sarah writes. “I love Christmas and the holidays, but I know for many it brings up the loss we’ve experienced. Even though this is not a typical happy Christmas song, I hope it reminds you that you aren’t alone this year.”

Isaiah 41:10 “Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my true right hand will be your support.”
