A song of apology to my kids, ex-wife and God for things turning out the way they have...I pray that despite our broken Danville, Ky they'll see Jesus in me...
When I think about all that He has done for me. And how He loves me, I am awestruck. Based on Psalm 8 where it says 'When I consider the heavens the works of Your hand...what is man that You are mindful of him?'
Lord, make me a vessel worthy to be used by You. Sort of based on 2 Tim 2 where Paul talks about there being vessels of honour and some to dishonour. My prayer is that I am a vessel that brings honour to His name.
Christ's prayer was that not His will but the Father's will would be done. Even though that meant death on the cross. Our prayer should always be the same. Not our will but His be done.
All of creation sings the glory of God. Let us join in their song. This goes along with Psalm 19. If we look at creation around us, I don't see how we cannot be awestruck at God's glory.
