America’s Most Responsible Companies were selected based on publicly available metrics derived from company reports and other data sources, as well as an independent survey. The review of the reports focused on 30 key performance indicators in the environmental, social and corporate governance areas, while the independent survey was conducted among U.S. residents to gauge public perception of corporate social responsibility. The final list recognizes the top 600 companies taking action each day to uphold their social responsibility.
