Entertainment Earth® Appoints John Louie as New Chief Executive Officer

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan 13, 2026--

Entertainment Earth, a leading online retailer and wholesaler of pop-culture toys and collectibles, has appointed John Louie as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Louie succeeds Billy Lagor, who announced in September 2025 his departure to join Hasbro as President, Toys & Games.

As CEO, Mr. Louie will bring his deep experience in commercial operations, brand management and development, and strategic planning to help solidify Entertainment Earth’s position as a pioneer in the toys and collectibles space and lead its next chapter of growth. Mr. Louie brings over 25 years of strategic global leadership experience across consumer products, licensing, media and entertainment, and digital commerce companies. He has held senior executive positions at Warner Bros., Mattel, and The Walt Disney Company, with a background spanning franchise development, consumer products expansion, global retail strategy, and omnichannel growth.

More recently, Mr. Louie served as Chief of Staff and Head of Strategy and Business Transformation at Funko, reporting to the CEO. He has also consulted to private equity portfolio companies for a variety of projects, ranging from e-commerce platforms to DTC home furnishings and apparel companies.
