President, Guardian Data Destruction

Glenn Laga, Founder and President of Guardian Data Destruction, was born in Brooklyn, NY and educated at Ramapo College.  He launched his career in the transportation industry, first as an employee and then eventually starting a national trucking and logistic company that specialized in the logistics of IT equipment.   As a true entrepreneur in the ever changing business environment, Glenn Laga has had the staying power to endure a down turning economy, deregulation of the transportation industry and accelerated growth of technologies and data. 

His latest vision has lead to the birth of Guardian Data Destruction, a company that provides onsite e-data destruction solutions for corporations to protect and securely dispose of confidential and sensitive data at the end of its life cycle.  Guardian Data Destruction is the original pioneer in this industry and the first to offer a full national suite of secure onsite e-data destruction services performed at the client’s locations.  

Guardian Data Destruction was incorporated in 2007, now having corporate headquarters in South Hackensack, NJ, and has the largest fleet of mobile trucks to provide a full suite of onsite e-data destruction services and site decommissioning.  His leadership and vision had allowed Guardian Data Destruction to grow and employ over 30 people with a positive culture and rewarding work environment.

Glenn’s efforts go well beyond his role in Guardian Data Destruction, as he is extremely involved and sits on the board of COSES, a not-for-profit organization that puts sporting goods and computers into the hands of under privilege children in third world countries.  His efforts have earned him the CIANJ award of “Champions of Good Works”.  Additionally, Glenn also sits on the Board of Directors for NAID, the governing body for information destruction and as a board member for PEN PAC, a political action network.
